I love this style of music, too. You've already mentioned some of the greats, but I also enjoy these pieces (there are more, but I can't think of them right now):

--"Liberi Fatali" by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy VIII)
--"One-Winged Angel" by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy VII)
--"Ameno" and "The Mass" by Era
--Enigma songs, including "Gravity of Love," which uses samples of "O Fortuna" (great techno remixes of this song, also)
--Apotheosis' remixes of "O Fortuna" and another "Carmina Burana" song, but I can't recall the name
--"O Verona" by Craig Armstrong (Romeo & Juliet)
--"The Omen" score by Jerry Goldsmith, including "Ave Satani"
--"They're Back" by Jerry Goldsmith (Poltergeist II)

I'll try to find more later when I'm at home with my CDs.

Thank you. I just watched Dracula 2000 and the background music is amazing. Thank you for your suggestions. I'm listening to them now.

Engima has two great pieces called "The Gate" and "The Eyes of Truth" which both have some great vocals.

Here's my suggestions for some dark choir/orchestra music:

Sleep Now by Hughes Hall (from the Dark City trailer)
Jill Burning by Simon Boswell (from Hardware)
Suite from "Restless" by Christophe Beck (from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Beck has tons of great music in this style for that show)
Batman Score by Danny Elfman
Scrooged Score by Danny Elfman
Nightbreed Score by Danny Elfman
The Crow Score by Graeme Revell
Julie's Theme by John Frizzell (from I Still Know What You Did Last Summer)
The Matrix Score by Don Davis

Those are all I can think of off the top of my head. I'll post more if I come up with any.

Note: All selections are available for purchase.

Much of Chris Beck's work from Buffy is available (the composer has given permission) for free download here: http://www.bluntinstrument.org.uk/beck/index.htm

Said music was previously made available through a promotional CD only, and is extremely difficult to obtain, which is why Beck has allowed these tracks to be shared freely.
