that song is influenced by Indian classical music. other similar beatles songs:
love you to, Norwegian Wood, across the universe.

beatles were influenced by musician Ravi Shankar, so you might wanna check him out. but he's not pop. so he's less accessible. start with his fusion work with Philip Glass

potheads love sitar. so search for "ganja music", and you'll find similar stuff.
