I have been trying to find this song for months!
I can't remember what the commercial was, but I think it was for a car.
It's a haunting lullaby-type song that reminds me of polyphonic spree's "light and day" or Telepopmusik's "Breathe". There is a background refrain that follows the lullaby-type piano melody. The only words I remember from the song are:
Every now and then I (something--couldn't understand) to chase the pain away.
(da da da dum) I could still fall in love with you.

I wouldn't be surprised if these lyrics are not very accurate. I think the commercial came out in early 2003. I wish I could hum the melody to help.

NO no i think it is... "light & day, reach for the stars" By the polyphonic spree.. Some kind of cult. If you have itunes music store its on there... yeah this song has definatly been in a couple of comercials.
