I heard this song recently at a Victoria's Secret store. I think it's an old song - maybe a few years? Or not?
It sounded to me like the verses were in English and sung by a man but that the chorus was in French and sung by a woman..
It went something like "je vous.... ... ... ... avec toi." I think?
It was kinda of a poppy/electronic.

I am so completely desperate! it's driving me crazy. Any ideas or suggestions at all?

I tried it out and nope. Thank you so much, though.

Anyone else care to take a stab?

i'm not too familiar with the songs, but maybe it's in-grid?

Could it be something by Air? I believe the group is two males, but they have used a French female singer in some of their songs before. I think...

My guess would be something by Thievery Corporation. This was the first song that popped into my head.......

Le Monde
by Thievery Corporation
album: The Mirror Conspiracy (2000)

Soulage ton coeur, soulage ton ame

Was it "Lady Marmalade"? The chorus is "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?," that's French for "Would you like to sleep with me?" There are a few versions from the original Patti LaBelle version to the Christina Aguilera/Lil` Kim/Maya/Pink "Moulin Rouge" version.

This song is sexalicious.

I loooooooooooove Thievery Corporation! :naughty:

I'm hope not. I want to know what song lucaphina was looking for. I bet it was "Lady Marmalade."

Okay, back from the dead.

No, it wasn't any of those. :( I heard it again the other day and I'm way beyond frustrated. I've never not been able to find the name of a song.

In listening to it again, I realized that that it isn't a guy/girl, but rather just a girl. And it's only in French. um.. and if anybody works at Victoria's Secret, it's on the January 2006 track list.

Where did you hear it this time around? How about going to the VS store and asking one of the sales people? I want to know what song it is too. :)

Both times I heard it was at VS. And I actually work there, so...
Those tapes do come with a track list, but it was thrown away before I could get my hands on it. And the cassette won't play on consumer decks. I already thought about taking it.

And I guess in retrospect, it is a newer song. So, if anybody can think of a new song, in french, that has a woman singing, and it kinda upbeat... let me know!!

Could you call another VS store, maybe they have their track listing still?

try "Brazilian Girls - Sirenes De La Fete" but the verses were female on this track, but the chorus is exactly what you described.

ah! djguest- that's it! I had completely given up hope - thank you so much!
