 All You Need is Credit
The Beatles helped start a Revolution (with the help of a famous commercial by Nike) of using popular music in television commercials. Regardless of how you feel about that ad music trend, it is a vital part of marketing in the ever changing world of "new media". Even Paul McCartney feels differently about popular music in advertising these days.

It looks like the music of The Beatles are being called into service once again (with the help of Beatles music rights owners Sony and Michael Jackson) in new Chase credit card commercials featuring a sound-alike cover version of The Beatles classic "All You Need Is Love". It doesn't take much to question the use of this so-called peace hippie anthem for an ad showing the need for a credit card to a tune preaching the virtues of love. But, as most of us know, marketing sometimes has no use for irony.
