Canon's new
television ad for their
PowerShot S500 Digital Elph camera features Rufus Wainwright covering The Beatles' song "
Across the Universe." The commercial shows off the camera's ability to capture a vibrant rainbow of colors which stream across the screen as photographic images come to life. Wainwright's version of the song can be found on the
I AM SAM Soundtrack. A remixed version of the song is on his album "
Poses" and is also available for download from
iTunes.
