Herbal Essences moves on from risqué "totally organic" showers to a more modest direction in new TV ads. The latest commercial features up and coming artist
Jadyn Maria singing her single "
Rock You Senseless" and shows her transforming from shampooed to styled as she performs for her "music video." This TV spot completes the search to find a new covergirl for Herbal Essences ads, which premiered during The WB show "
What I Like About You," and included a cameo from Maria in the episode. In a product placement
cross promotion, the show's episode (named "
Split Ends") included the storyline of two actresses competing for the chance to star in a
Herbal Essences ad. The single, which is available exclusively from
iTunes will also be on Maria's upcoming debut release.
