Apple iTunes U2 Exclusive
In a departure from the anonymous dancing silhouette ads,
Apple has recruited
U2 to star as recognizable figures in a new TV ad for iPod and iTunes. Two versions of the colorful ad, an extended two minute version (available in the iTunes Music Store) and a 30 second version (available on
Apple.com), feature the U2 song "
Vertigo" and will
debut tonight during the American League baseball game, SCRUBS and ONE TREE HILL.
U2's album, "
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" set for a November 23 release will include the "Vertigo" single. The ad single is
available exclusively for download from the iTunes Music Store.
