Director
Michel Gondry is no stranger when it comes to
creating unique, sometimes unusual and stunning visual art. His numerous music videos with singers and bands like Bjork, The White Stripes,
Steriogram, Kylie Minogue and the Chemical Brothers have earned him international recognition.
Gondry's vision extends to include TV ads for companies such as Gap, Smirnoff and Levi's (remember those scary singing bellybuttons?). He's even the man behind the
Jim Carey movie ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. His latest work is two TV spots for
Diet Coke's "Effervescent" bubble-centric campaign starring
Kate Beckinsale and
Adrien Brody. Beckinsale stars in "Tingle," featuring the bathing beauty walking alongside a pool. "Bounce" follows Brody as he literally bounces along a neighborhood street. "Tingle" uses the song "Tiptoe" by
Goldfrapp and "Bounce" samples "Callin' Out" by
Lyrics Born.
