The new "Real World of Coca-Cola" TV ad that debuted during Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL features Sharlene Hector, a vocalist for Basement Jaxx, singing Nina Simone's song "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free." The ad, which originally aired in the UK, shows Hector walking down a city street handing out bottles of Coke to pedestrians along the sidewalk. This isn't the first time Basement Jaxx has been associated with Coke. Their song "Red Alert" also made an appearance in a Coke ad featuring people dancing around a bon fire.
